Association Management Partners earns accreditation

WSAE's management firm, Association Management Partners, LLC, recently became accredited by the AMC Institute. AMP is one of only 70 firms to earn this recognition

New officers and directors elected

The Wisconsin Society of Association Executives announces new officers and directors for 2012. They are:

Lani Becker, CAE, associate executive director, Wisconsin Dental Association, West Allis, is president of the association.

David Feldner, CAE, executive director of Milwaukee NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc., Wauwatosa, was elected president-elect.

Eric Lanke, CAE, CEO, National Fluid Power Association, Milwaukee, was elected secretary/treasurer.

Newly elected directors are: Ross Ament, CAE, president, Ament Associates, Inc., Poynette; William Sepic, IOM, president, Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association, Madison; and Martin Tirado, CAE, executive director, Snow and Ice Management Association, Milwaukee.

Kristine Hillmer, MBA, CAE, executive director, Metropolitan Builders Association, Waukesha, past president of the association, will continue to serve on the board in 2012.

WSAE announces award winners

The Wisconsin Society of Association Executives recognized the following award winners at its December meeting:

• Amy Bliss, CAE, executive director, Tomorrow's Home Foundation, Madison, was awarded the Hall of Fame Award.

• Dan Borschke, FASAE, MA, CAE, executive director, National Association of Concessionaires, Chicago, Ill., received the Association Advocate Award.

• Ross Ament, MA, CAE, president, Ament Associates, Inc., Poynette, was named Member of the Year.

• Tera Sagen, group sales manager, Country Springs Hotel Water Park and Conference Center, Waukesha, was named Industry Partner of the Year.

The meeting was held at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva.
